Senior Assistant Health Environmental Officer II (1 Post)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) situated at Chang’ombe, Temeke District in Dar es Salaam.

Job Title: Senior Assistant Health Environmental Officer II (1 Post)

(a) Qualifications and Experience:
Holder of Diploma in Public Health/Health Sciences/Environmental Health Sciences and should have registered with the Environmental Health Practitioners’ Registration Council and have relevant working experience of at least five years.

(b) Duties and Responsibilities
(i) Inspect environmental sanitation around campus.
(ii) Inspect sanitary of building and Cafeteria.
(iii) Inspects food taken by students according to standards set by the Government.
(iv) Facilitate prevention of animals and insect which spread diseases
(v) Take measure to prevent and combat diseases epidemic
(vi) Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the relevant authorities.

(c) Salary Scale: PMGSS 8
