Dental Surgeon II

Bugando Medical Centre is hereby inviting suitably Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies;-

POSITION: DENTAL SURGEON II (1- Post)

Entry Qualifications:
Holder of a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree or its equivalent from a recognized Institution. Must be registered by the Tanganyika Medical Council as a Dental Surgeon with one year of internship.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct Oral Health education to in patients and out patients.
• Attending emergency medical duties on Oral health.
• Carrying out investigations of admitted patients.
• Ensuring that prescribed instructions are carried out.
• Conducting minor operations on Orthodontics.
• Assisting senior physicians/surgeon at operations.
• Carrying out service and participating in major ward rounds.
• Supervising medical students and interns in clinical duties.
• Ensuring that patients are properly prepared for surgery.
• Participating fully in morning clinical sessions, patient presentation and journal clubs.
• Participating in research activities.
• Assist in conducting outreach programs.

Salary Scale: PMGSS.10
Age Limit : Not above 40 years of age
