AKIBA Commercial Bank PLC, a leading bank in micro finance; is currently recruiting suitably qualified Tanzanians to join its workforce in the following positions
The position reports to the Supervisor, Cash and Customer Service, and carries out the following responsibilities:-
- Providing quality service to Customers and managing Customer expectations.
- Responsible for managing potential risks.
- Buying and selling foreign currencies for the Bank.
- Receiving and counting cash and entering details thereof in the cash balance form.
- Receiving cheques and cash for deposit to customers' accounts. Making sure that cash withdrawals by customers are counted and posted properly.
- Any other relevant duties to be assigned by the supervisor
Qualification and Experience
- University Degree/ Advanced Diploma majoring in accounting, Banking, Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture or its equivalent.
- A minimum of upper second class.
- Must have scored Division Two or above at '0' level secondary examinations and 'A' level secondary examinations.
- Passes in Mathematics at '0' level and 'A' level is a must. Fresh Graduate but having experience in banking sector is an added advantage.
