Marie Stopes Tanzania (MST) is a marketing-focused, results-oriented social enterprise, which uses modern management and marketing techniques to provide family planning, reproductive and sexual healthcare and allied services. MST is a member of the Marie Stopes International (MSI) Global Partnership, which operates in over 46 countries worldwide. MST’s goal is to improve quality of life in Tanzania by dramatically improving access to and use of family planning and other reproductive health services.

POSITION: Head of Research, Monitoring & Evaluation
Job purpose
The Head of Research is responsible for all research, monitoring and evaluation activities for Marie Stopes Tanzania’s core business and projects. The Head of Research will work closely with project managers, regional staff and other key stakeholders to ensure the attainment of Marie Stopes Tanzania’s goals and objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Masters Degree in Public Health or equivalent degree.
- Advanced degree or further training in research, public health and related disciplines an asset
- Experience in monitoring and evaluating donor-funded projects
- Knowledge of family planning and reproductive health an asset
- Experience of using SPSS, n Vivo and/or other data analysis software is an
