Marie Stopes Tanzania (MST) is a marketing-focused, results-oriented social enterprise, which uses modern management and marketing techniques to provide family planning, reproductive and sexual healthcare and allied services. MST is a member of the Marie Stopes International (MSI) Global Partnership, which operates in over 46 countries worldwide. MST’s goal is to improve quality of life in Tanzania by dramatically improving access to and use of family planning and other reproductive health services.
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our highly motivated team in the following role;
POSITION; Director of Strategy and Partnership
Job purpose
Responsible for the implementation of the Marie Stopes Tanzania Strategy (Power of 10), policy development and advocacy initiatives in collaboration with relevant partners ensuring the highest attainable impact of MST work in Tanzania, ensuring women can access high quality reproductive health services. The role is a leading role in the organization and will be rolemodelling participation, inclusion and transparency and inspire employees to assume responsibility and accountability.
Minimum Requirements
- Law degree preferable / Masters in Economics a plus
- Knowledge/Interest working with Community Outreach, Family Planning and Social Marketing
- At least 5 years’ experience in a management position, preferably in the health management
- At least 5 years’ experience managing donor funded project cycles including technical and financial components.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience participating and/or leading proposal development processes
