System Administrator (1 Position)

The Karanga Leather Industries Company Co. Ltd (KLICL) is established as a joint venture company limited between Public Service Social Security Fund (PSSSF) and Tanzania Prisons Service through its company known as Prisons Corporation Sole to undertake development and operate leather Industries in Karanga Area, Moshi Municipality. The Karanga Leather Industries Company Limited (KLICL) intends to hire qualified, energetic, dynamic and proactive Tanzanians to fill the following positions in the organization structure.

POSITION: System Administrator (1 Position)

a) QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Holder of Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related IT discipline, with at least 3 years of working experience in complex system design, programming and systems software and support; excellent oral/written communication and documentation skills; able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

b) MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Design, monitor, upgrade and install updated network systems;
ii. Analyse and support computer and system issues;
iii. Evaluate and modify system performance;
iv. Assign configuration, authentication and authorization of directory services;
v. Develop and maintain system specifications and file server;
vi. Ensure records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained;
vii. Develop systems and procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse;
viii. Develop programs, procedures and documentation for backup and restoration of operating systems and applications;
ix. Deploy workstations, servers, printers, scanners, firewalls, encryption systems, and appliances security systems;
x. Performing any other duties assigned BY Supervisor.

REMUNERATION
All positions carries attractive package commensurate with one’s qualification and experience.
