Job Title: Cost Controller

Job Summary;
To support company’s Logistics operations such that objectives are met at the required work performance standard and in accordance with company behaviours and values.

To review, define and monitor best operating procedures of the finance department in the ultimate objective of optimizing projects control and financial reporting.

Also ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and relevant Tanzanian legislation.

Accountabilities & Responsibility Areas
· Review project costs and margins.
· Investigate project variances and submit variance reports to management.
· Responsible of the closure of project accounts upon project completion.
· Report on project profitability to management.
· Assist in monthly preparation of financial reports by determining project accruals and provisions.
· Key role in developing procedures between Operations & Finance departments to improve accuracy and effiency
· Assist the department on any other financial matters.

Formal Training/Education
· Minimum of bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or business administration.
· Experience of 2/3 years in audit or similar position and/or specific experience in the transport industry
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office package.

Knowledge/Skills & Experience
· One year work experience in a finance environment. 
· International exposure.
· Have the ambition to help the growth of a young company.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Self motivation, leadership and management skills.
