Tanzania Coffee Board which is a government body established by the Tanzania Coffee Industry Act. No. 23 of 2001 and miscellaneous Amendments Act of 2009, is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced, dynamic and motivated Tanzanian citizens to immediately fill vacant positions currently existing in the Board.

Job Title: Senior Coffee Roaster II

Responsible to: Promotion Manager

Distinct areas of expertise and experience:

• Holder of Form Four/Six Certificate, Certificate in Food Science and Technology or its equivalent with at least five (5) years working experience in the same field from a reputable organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving coffee beans
• Verify quality of coffee beans
• Weighs the beans to ascertain the weight
• Operate roasting machine and roast them in the required standard, light, medium or dark.
• Keep updated record of sales and stocks
• Ensure there is available stocks of coffee for sales within and for export.
• Supervise staff under him
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned by his/her superior

REMUNERATION
The successful candidate will be offered remunerations commensurate with the TCB's remuneration schemes.
