Senior Technician Grade III – 1 post

Duties And Responsibilities
· Assist researchers in the execution of various technical assignments under supervision.
· Inspect goods, materials and equipments.
· Supervise and guide other technicians in the proper installation, running and maintenance of workshop, testing and laboratory facilities and services.
· Assist Research Technologist in the execution of their duties.
· Assist in drawing plans for laboratory, testing facilities and workshop development.
· Perform any other duties as may be assignedby supervisor.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Ordinary Diploma in Civil Engineeringfrom a recognized institution.
· The candidate should have a work experience of four (4) years from a firm doing activities similar to those done by the Centre.

REMUNERATION
· Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institution’sSalary Scale PGSS 7.
