On behalf of the Centre for Agricultural Mechanization and Rural Technology (CAMARTEC), Public Service Recruitment Secretariat invites qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant posts

Principal Technologist III - 2 Posts.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • · Train under such senior Production, Testing, and Training/Extension Officer as the Director or the relevant directorate may direct. 
  • · Assist in production of workshops equipment/machinery and /or design of machines and implements. 
  • · Conduct, and play leading role in production of advanced technologies and development or technical training, or extension of approved technologies 
  • · Projects proposal writing and soliciting for funding. Use and control of project inputs, compilation of results and preparation of reports. 
  • · Any other technical and administrative duties as may be assigned to him/her by the Director of the relevant directorate. 
  • · Liaise with a NGO’s, CBO’s and regional leaders on how to integrate CAMARTEC technologies into regional projects. 
  • · Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor. 


QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • · Bachelor of Scienceeither in Agriculture, Mechanical, Civil, Process, Electronics, Electrical or Environmental Engineering from recognized higher learning institutions withseven (7) years of working experience. 


Or

  • · Master of Science either in Agriculture, Mechanical, Civil, Process, Electronics, Electrical or Environmental Engineering from recognized higher learning institutions with 5 years of working experience. 


REMUNERATION
· Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institution’s Salary Scale PGSS 15.

viii. Presentation of forged academic certificates and other information in the CV will necessitate to legal action
ix. Applicants for senior positions currently employed in the public service should route their application letters through their respective employers.
x. Applicants for entry levels currently employed in the Public Service should not apply, they have to adhere to Government Circular Na. CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated 30th November, 2010.
xi. Applicants who have/were retired from the Public Service for whatever reason should not apply.

xiii. Certificates from foreign examination bodies for ordinary or advanced level education should be certified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA)
