Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive office vehicle to approved destinations;
- Ensuring that fuel, oil, water, tires, toolkit and the general state of the car has been checked before use;
- Ensures that the vehicle is serviced regularly and to the required standards;
- Makes regular checks on the office vehicle and carries out minor repairs to the vehicle;
- Maintains the log-book for each and every trip/ journey made;
- Make sure that the company vehicle is used for authorized activities only;
- Performs any other duties assigned by Supervisor or senior officers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Holder of Secondary Education Examination certificate with a clean and valid driving license class" C
- Desired: Trained as motor vehicle mechanics/ technicians, a trade test grade 1/ from National Instituted of Transport (NIT) or VETA; and a clean record in driving motor vehicles.
Experience
- At least three years (3) of work experience as senior driver from reputable organizations.
- Experience in a similar environment will be preferred.
