The Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) is a statutory institution owned by the two Governments of the United Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Zambia. The Authority wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified Candidates to fill the under mentioned post

Job Objective

• Providing effective day to day advice and support to Management and employees on terms and conditions of employment, application of Human Resources policies and procedures, employee relations issues including disciplinary matters.
• Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintaining Staff and Workforce data both electronic and manual.
•  Compile various reports on Manpower and industrial Relations issues.
• Ensure the Development of Comprehensive best practice and professional Human Resources Services to the Organization. Administration of employees Social Welfare and ensuring consistent application of Industrial Relations Rules and Procedures to Supervisors and Workers by providing correct interpretation of Collective Agreement, Labor Laws and other Regulations. Carryout any other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration or Social Science or its equivalent. Minimum experience of 2 years in Human resources Management from reputable Organization.
• Extensive Knowledge in various practices of Human Resources Management and Labor Laws.
• Computer Literate preferably in Microsoft office and advanced level in Microsoft Excel.
• Possession of Masters Degree will be an added advantage.
• Attractive Salary under TAZARA Salary Grade TSG 10ill be offered to the right Candidates.
