Job Objective
Assisting Storekeeper in maintaining Stores duties as may be directed by his Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To complete purchase documents such as LP5 etc. indicating type and quantities or materials required, amount of money involved, details of Supplies etc. upon receipt of approval purchase requisitions.
- To compare Invoices with Delivery Notes, Local Purchase Orders and Goods Received Notes to ensure details tally. Corrects any errors in collaboration with Suppliers prior to submitting same to Accounts.
- To supervise the loading of fuel (Gas Oil) from any approved source of supply, completes dispatch formalities and ensures that such gas arrive at specified destination safety and on tin.
- To maintain comprehensive filing system of all purchasing documents and records of purchases. To perform any other duties as may be directed by Superior from time to time.
Qualification and Experience
Form IV Leaver with Certificate in Materials Management. Minimum of 2 years at this level
Attractive salary under Tazara Salary Grade TSG 3 will be to the right Candidates.
