Job Summary: 
Report to Branch Accountant, responsible for day to day accounting activities

Duties and responsibilities
§     Preparing various forms as instructed by the Superior or Operations Officer in charge.
§     Receiving and registering foreign bills, payment procedures and notification to customer’s drawer banks.
§     Processing preparation of form and declarations.
§     Recording of TISS and SWIFT transactions
§     Operator of alternative products i.e. MPESA, WESTERN UNION, ATM, INSURANCE
§     Keeping track of outstanding items and looking for resolution
§     Balancing and reconciling assigned accounts
§     Ensuring transactions are posted with correct amounts, rate, value, date and account number
§     Returning to sender all outstanding credit items older than 3 months
§     Filing vouchers on a daily basis
§     Any other relevant duties assigned by supervisor

Educational Qualifications
§     Holders of a recognized diploma in banking, accounting, finance or equivalent qualifications in related field
