Principal Accountant
Duty Station: Tanga
Qualifications and Experience:
- Holder of CPA (T) OR ACCA or ACA or equivalent with at least nine years working experience in a reputable organization, must be registered with NBAA
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To prepare financial statements
- To prepare financial reports from time to time To prepare Financial Statements
- To establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures
- To analyze and review budgets and expenditures
- To analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control.
- To interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits
- To analyze financial transactions, determine accuracy, completeness and conformance to established policies and procedures and generally accepted accounting standards.
- To prepare annual audit schedule for external auditors, and responding to questions
- To provide technical accounting assistance to other departments
- To supervise junior staff
