Health Laboratory Technologist
Duty Station: Mwanza
Qualifications and Experience:
- Holder of Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Working experience of at least two years in health/Research related institution
Duties and Responsibilities
- To participate in Research
- To receive, sort and distribute specimens to appropriate laboratories
- To perform clinical laboratory tests using standard procedures examining human and animal specimens for the purpose of providing information for the diagnosis, prevention or treatment of disease, impairment etc
- To conduct chemical, biological and physical tests on materials to determine that standards are met.
- To perform cultures and identify bacteria and viruses To monitor the quality of testing
- To perform any other related duties assigned
