Crest Insurance Brokers Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following post to be based in Dar es Salaam.
Position: General Manager
Job Profile
You will be responsible for;
- Overseeing and performing qualitative and quantitative market research in order to assess client needs and competitor’s offerings
- Overseeing insurance matters for Crest, including both customer and commercial products and coverage
- Identifying and developing opportunities to implement both life and non-life insurance products
- Maintaining superb public relations with all our clients, partners and stakeholders
- Establishing and managing an effective and efficient operations to handle processing of business and reporting of the results
- Ensuring that service at all levels, be it enrollment, quotation, or claims is of superior quality
- Constantly developing new and efficient service delivery channels
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Diploma in Insurance, from a reputable institution.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the insurance industry, preferably in sales and operations.
Knowledge and Competencies
- Candidate should possess high integrity and ethical values
- Candidate should have a presentable personality
- Must be fluent in English and Kiswahili, both written and spoken(knowledge of international languages an added advantage)
- Ability to present materials in various forms including; client presentations, written proposals and training sessions
- Good comprehension of most personal and commercial insurance products in life and non-life categories
- Conversant with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must display potential for increasing levels of management responsibilities
- Ability to develop new products and understanding of market research techniques, competitor analysis and sufficient insights into the Tanzanian and East African insurance regulations.
