Position: Business Development Manager-E-commerce
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Salary: TZS 2,169,197- 2,603,036
Our client, an integrated business group in diversified fields such as motor sales and service, hospitality, infrastructure and engineering & Telecom, headquartered in Tanzania seeks to recruit a Business Development Manager-E-commerce.
Job Purpose;
To achieve maximum sales growth, product penetration and profitability within an assigned market segment by effectively marketing the client’s e-commerce platform.The ideal candidate will play a key role in increasing ecommerce sales
Minimum Requirements
- University Degree in Marketing/Business administration.
- 3-5 years relevant experience as E-Commerce Manager / Ecommerce Sale Manager / Digital Sales Manager / Ecommerce Business Development Manager
- A proven track record of developing ecommerce business expansion plans including identifying, negotiating, and managing customer relationships
Confident, energetic and enthusiastic
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and growing the client`s ecommerce business across Tanzania.
- To develop and implement the e-commerce strategy to maximize revenue and ensure the highest standard of customer service
- To produce an e-commerce business plan
- To work with shop managers to identify most profitable stock for online selling.
- To research trends to identify most profitable product lines and pricing
- To photograph and describe items and ensure that they are listed to achieve maximum interest and profit.
- To ensure the highest standards of customer care and ensure 6 day a week fulfillment through liaison with the Warehouse Coordinator and volunteers
- To ensure that e-commerce is integrated into wider digital media strategy
- To report on income and liaise with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and transfer of income to appropriate budget lines
