Bugando Medical Centre is a consultant and teaching hospital for the Lake and Western zones of the United Republic of Tanzania. It is situated along the shores of Lake Victoria in Mwanza City. It has 900 beds and over 1000 employees. It is a referral centre for tertiary specialist care for eight regions, namely: - Mwanza,Geita, Simiyu, Mara, Kagera, Shinyanga, Tabora and Kigoma. It serves a catchment’s population of over 14 million people.
Bugando Medical Centre is therefore inviting suitably Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies;-

Warden II (1-Post)

Direct Entry Qualifications:
Holder of first degree with bias in Education, Students’ Counseling or Students’ Administration.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Assisting the Dean of students in counseling and guidance in the Halls of Residence or Campus
· Assisting in Handling problems of accommodation, catering, health recreation in respect of student in given Hall of Residence
· Assisting in seeing to it that the Allied By-laws and regulations guiding the students’ life in halls of residence are being observed and taking necessary
action where such By-law or regulations are violated
· Assisting in coordinating the administrative activities of the Warden on Campus
· Assisting in coordinating the counseling service of the Warden on Campus
· Assisting in providing counseling to students
· Assisting the Dean of students in any other administrative task as will be prescribed by Dean of Students
· Performing any other related duties as may be assigned.

Salary Scale : PGSS.6.1
Age Limit : Not above 40 years of age
