In October 2013, Children in Crossfire initiated a 4-year programme called “Fursa kwa Watoto” (Opportunity for Children). The programme will combine direct interventions with 27,000 children in schools in Kilimanjaro and Mwanza Regions with local and national advocacy that will inform decision makers and lead to improved allocated resources for pre-primary education in Tanzania. Children in Crossfire is leading the implementation in collaboration with multiple partners at the international, national and regional levels.
Position: Programme Technical Officer – 1 Post
To support the Fursa Programme Manager in implementing the programme, Children in Crossfire is recruiting a Programme Technical Officer.
We are seeking a professional and committed individual for this exciting position with demonstrated experience in the education sector as well as the enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally. The successful candidate must be educated to degree level in a relevant subject area of Education, International Development or Social Science.

HOW TO APPLY:
Position duration is 12-month renewable contracts and are based in Dar es Salaam with the expectation of frequent travel within the Country.
The closing date for all entries is 5pm on the 23rd January 2015. Interviews will take place on the week commencing 2 February 2015 in Dar es Salaam.
