Job overview
As Base Operations Manager, the successful candidate will reside on-site and run a busy transportation set up, overseeing day to day operations as well as acting as a point of contact for the Drivers. To that end, this role will require both operations and sheer understanding of Port/Customs/Revenue Authority protocol. The successful candidate will be tasked with both helping to plan routes and execute moves for routine loads and abnormal loads. Finally, this individual will report straight to the business owners, ensuring that the role requires someone who is hands on and knowledgeable enough to handle such a reporting line.
Experience: MINIMUM 10 years
