Senior Human Resource Officer

Position: Senior Human Resource Officer

Roles and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Partner, the Senior HR officer will:

  • Identify talent to meet the present & future staffing needs for KPMG Tanzania;
  • Champion performance management initiatives, goal setting and performance reviews;
  • Oversee learning and development of the staff;
  • Ensure staff integration through employee engagement initiatives such as regular staff meetings and team building events;
  • Oversee HR Administration to include leave and records management;
  • Support the firm’s Mentorship programme;
  • Generate proposals on ways to improve the work, procedures/workflow within HR and within the firm as whole; and
  • Effectively contribute to the HR team in ensuring HR as a whole meets business needs within and outside the firm.

Desired Skills & Experience
- Qualification and Experience:

  • Possess a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business or Social Studies;
  • Post-graduate qualification in HR Management; and
  • Have at least 3-4 years working experience in a busy Human Resources office.

- Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent team-working and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to handle and resolve multiple, concurrent demands, adapt to new environments and provide effective solutions to business needs;
  • A goal-driven and results-oriented person who enjoys being measured by performance results;
  • Strong computer skills;
  • Thrives in a competitive business environment such as KPMG; and
  • Must operate and practice within the professional code of conduct.
