POSITION: IT LAB TECHNICIAN
Location: Dar es Salaam
Summary
A moveable assets rental and assets management company is looking for an IT Lab Technician who will be responsible for refurbishing of IT Equipment.
The successful candidate will provide support to sales consultants & Manager, and will have a wide range of duties including (but not exclusively);
Duties:
- Produce innovative refurbishment solutions
- Upgrading components of aging systems and removing viruses.
- Diagnosing and repairing both hardware and software malfunctions
- Maintenance of computer systems.
- Installation of hardware and software, database management, troubleshooting network and computer program errors, replacing hardware components, server maintenance, and hardware configuration.
- Ability to neatly run cabling
- Clearly communicate complex terms while training a customer in a newly installed device's operation
- Deliver logistics and installation functions
Work Experience / Skills: - Computer components and know how they interact with each other
- Know how to use various diagnostic tools and procedures to determine the exact problem with the machine

Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years in IT Hardware Industry.
- Candidate must have a relevant IT degree or similar
- Knowledge of both hardware and software (IT)
- Minimum 5 years in IT Refurbishment
