Industrial Hygiene Inspectors


Position: Industrial Hygiene Inspectors
Place: Occupational Safety and Health Authority 

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Bachelor degree in Environmental Health Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. The individual should also possess/own basic technical equipment required for execution of the service applied for i.e. sound level meter, dust pumps, lux meter etc, appropriate personal protective equipment (PPEs) as well as computer and printer for timely report writing.

Duties and Responsibilities
Carry out general workplace inspections and environment measurements (heat/cold stress, noise, light, gases, fumes, aerosol, mist, vapour, radiation, indoor air quality, ventilation, efficiency etc.) Prepare inspection reports, and compile monthly, quarterly and annual reports as well as keeping records of inspections. Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure corrective measures have been implemented.
