Sales Executive

Our Client:  A market leader in the Tanzanian printing industry.  
Job Title: Sales Executive 
 
No. Of Positions: 3 
Type of Hire: Local 
 Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania 
 Gross Salary: USD 400 plus commission on sales 
 
Job Responsibilities: 
 1. Tele-­‐market, correspond and meet with current and prospective customers. 
 2. Maintain long-­‐term consultative relationship with clients for repeat business. 
 3. Meet and exceed sales goals. 
 4. Focus on results and have a strong work ethic. 
 5. Be resourceful & take responsibility for control ing own success in our business growth. 
 6. Be committed & loyal to career building & growth, within caring, supportive company. 
 7. Be highly organized and detail oriented with professional presentation ability. 
 
Essential Functions: 

  •  Visit potential customers for new business. 
  •  Provide customers with quotations. 
  •  Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales. 
  •  Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on buying trends. 
  •  Represent your organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations. 
  •  Identify new markets and business opportunities. 
  •  Record sales and send copies to the sales office. 
  •  Review your own sales performance. 

 Qualifications and Skills: 

  •  Diploma in Sales or an Executive Diploma in Strategic Sales and Account Management 
  •  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and oral. 
  •  Very Fluent in spoken and written English and Swahili
  •  A confident and determined approach 
  •  Resilience  and the ability to cope with rejection. 
  •  Self-­‐motivation and drive 
  •  A competitive streak 
  •  Source & develop new business leads for state of the art offset printing Company.
