Qualifications and Experience
- PhD holders in Natural products chemistry/Synthetic Organic Chemistry; Medical Entomology; Health Systems Policy or Health Economics
- A working experience of at least three years research work
- Must have published at least five (5) publications
Duties and Responsibilities
- To carry out research activities and ensure quality control
- Participate in the formulation of Institute's' research/Scientific policies and strategies
- Identifying researches that have practical significance and devise strategies for their implementation
- Planning and implementing Research programmes Present and publish reports and proposals
- Carrying out critical evaluation of research projects at all stages of their implementation and review resource budgeting, utilization and management.
- Drawing up new research proposals and applying for funding and grants.
- Presenting ongoing work and findings to colleagues at academic conferences, and producing summaries for the nature of research, methodology and their findings
- Teaching, demonstrating or supervising students (in academia) and training and supervising other members of staff.
