Qualifications and Experience
- PhD holders in Medical Entomology; Health systems Policy or Health Economics
- A working experience of at least eight (8) years in research work after PhD.
- Must have published at least fifteen scientific publications after PhD
Duties and Responsibilities
- To carry out research activities and ensure quality control
- Writing and submitting applications and progress reports to funding bodies that support medical research
- Leading Research teams in developing innovative products
- Preparing presentations, and delivering these at national and International Scientific conferences.
- Make recommendations on future projects
- Spearheading the formulation of the Institute's scier ,tific policies and strategies.
- Preparation of reports and technical/ scientific publications
- Teaching and supervising students (in higher education)
- Drawing up new research proposals and applying for funding and grants.
