Preventive Assistant needed - TRA

Purpose of the Job.

To strengthen supervision of the Customs preventive operations.

Major Activities of the Job.
-Board and rummage vessels.
-Prevent and control the importation of prohibited and restricted goods.
-Perform preventive duties at ports, seaports gates, customs warehouse, transit stations and dry ports.
-Perform gangway duties on ship and aircrafts.
-Guard and escort goods under customs controls.
-Prepare patrols reports.
-Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
-Minimum Job Requirements.

Qualifications.
1. Diploma in Customs and Tax Management, Law, Business Administration, Accountancy or its Equivalent from a recognized Institution.

2. Short courses in Customs and Tax issues, and relevant training in security matters is an added advantage.

GENERAL
Applicants for all positions MUST be ready to work any where in the United Republic of Tanzania.
