Assistant Administrative Officer Transport needed - TRA

Purpose of the Job

To assist with proper management of the Authority motor vehicles and coordination of repair, maintenance and servicing of the same.

Major Activities of the Job
-Assist in initiating requests for repairs, maintenance and servicing of motor vehicles.
-Counterchecking and signing drivers log books.
-Assist in ensuring that all procedures for repairs and servicing of motor vehicles are adhered to.
-Assist in follow-up of motor vehicle maintenance.
-Assist in preparation and consolidation of motor vehicles usage, fuel consumption, repair, and maintenance and accident reports for the Authority.
-Assists in the certification of repairs, maintenance and servicing of motor vehicles undertaken by garages.
-Assist in provision of transport requested by user departments
-Assist in the supervision of the office services function
-Assist in supervision of assets disposal in collaboration with court Brokers.
-Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
-Minimum Job Requirements

Qualification
1. Advanced Diploma in Transport and Logistics Management from the National Institute of Transport (NIT) or any other recognized Institution.

2. Clean Driving License - Class C(Old licensing system) or Class C1,C2,C3 or E (in the new licensing system)

3. Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics from VETA or any recognised institution – Trade Test Grade I
Experience : Three (3) years of experience in handling transport matters

GENERAL
