Graphics Designer (1 post) 

Report to: The Managing Director 

Qualifications 
Ø Degree or Diploma in Desktop Publishing, Graphic Design and / Webpage Design 
Ø At least 3 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer (Portfolio of work done is essential) 
Ø Knowledge and experience with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, PageMaker, Acrobat Professional and QuarkXPress 
Ø Experience with both PC and Apple 
Ø Artistic creativity, innovative thinking, flexibility and adaptability 
Ø Good command of English and Kiswahili 
Ø Communication and presentation skills 
Ø Accuracy, efficiency, attention to detail and time management 
Ø Ability to work under pressure and long hours as required 

Job Descriptions 
Ø Create graphic design products for visual communication materials such as magazines, annual reports, product catalogues, calendars, etc. 
Ø Work with marketing team to ensure good client relations 
Ø Meet with clients to discuss objectives, requirements and cost factors 
Ø Create samples, dummies, mock-ups and present to clients for approval 
Ø Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts 
Ø Proofread final designs for accuracy and quality 
Ø Work on layouts and art work to ensure readiness to print 
Ø work with the Print Machine Operator for quality assurance of the approved final product 
Ø Any other duties as assigned by the Management
