Job Position: Payroll Master
Location: Unguja Kaskazini Zanzibar
Description:
- Responsible for entering payroll data into the computer, auditing payroll data and maintaining files and records to produce accurate payroll period reports in accordance with hotel standards.
- Track and manage the processing of salaries payable to the employees.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding paychecks according to department procedures.
- Enter new employee records in payroll system from information received from Human Resources, create a file and include all designated forms and data. Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy payroll.
- Compile payroll data and enters data or computer and post wages and reconciles errors to maintain payroll records, using computer. Complies payroll data such as timesheet.
- Prepare periodic reports of earning taxes and deduction.
- process payroll by established deadlines.
- Update payroll records by recording changes including insurance coverage, loan payments, salary increases.
Qualifications
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Team player.
- Ability to work with multinational.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Well organized.
