Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania Northern Diocese invites applications for the following vacancies;
Accountant
Qualification:
Bachelor degree in Accounting
- CPA (T) will be added advantage
- 3 years experience as an accountant
- Ability to work with accounting software - Quick book, tally etc
- Excellent working experience with Ms, Excel
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the accounting team to perform daily accounting task and manage month-end activities to ensure timely issues of reports incorparating key financial and non-financial KPL's
- Guide the management to deliver budget and forecasts
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of profit and loss accounts, budget, cash flows variance analysis and cemmentaries
- Monitor and promote compliances to financial policies and regulations
- Preparing tax returns to ensure compliance with payment, reporting and due dates
- Reviewing and analysing financial records ro prepare end of the year financial statements
- Administering payroll and controlling income and expenditure
- Supervising banking and bank reconciliations
As per ELCT Northern Diocese Salary scale.
