Human Resource Manager

We are looking for a professional, loyal and knowledgeable Human Resource Manager with a minimum of 5 years work experience in a large organization in a leading position. Experience working in Agriculture or a factory environment will be an added advantage.

The position is Head of the HR Department of an Agricultural enterprise which is producing on several locations in the Arusha area.

A team of HR-managers is reporting to this position.

The candidate should have good communication skills, co-operating and co-ordinating skills.  He/She should be able to fully support and administer the Company’s strategy and goals and the respecting of its rules and regulations.

The candidate is expected to be experienced in:
·         General HR administration (including developing and implementing HR policies and procedures);
·         Recruitment and selection procedures;
·         Interpreting, implementing and following up employment contracts;
·         Negotiating and dealing with the labour unions;
·         Supervising performance management system;
·         Termination procedures, mediation and arbitration;
·         Supervising and running an electronic payroll system (such as PAYTAN, or similar) including proven ability in implementing calculations and procedures of overtime, public holiday payments, leave calculation payments, NSSF/PPF and PAYE calculation and administration;
·         Knowledge and application of Tanzania Labour Act and Rules.

Job Requirements:
·         University degree
·         Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources management experience in a large organization.
·         Strong personal integrity, ethical standards, and the ability to “Lead by Example"
·         A demonstrated track record in developing and implementing HR strategies, objectives, policies and procedures within a large production organisation.
·         Fluency in both written and spoken Swahili and English is a must.

This is a fulltime position and the workstation is in Arusha, Tanzania.
