The Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA) is a Higher Learning Institute operating as a Government Executive Agency providing education in Accountancy, Procurement & Logistics Management and other business related disciplines. The Institute requires qualified and dedicated personnel to fill the following posts in its establishment


Job Vacancy: Supplies Officer (1 Post) - MWANZA CAMPUS

Required Qualifications:

• Holder of First Degree in Procurement and Logistics
• Management or its equivalent qualifications, graduated from academic year 2013/14.
• Reports to Head of Procurement Management Unit

Duties:

• Co-ordinating and forecasting supply requirements;
• Maintaining and making available statistics on stocks and procurement for Management
• Information Systems;
• Maintaining that stock are at economic levels;
• Planning and implementing of action programs in any functional section of supplies or stores;
• Planning and supervising procurement, storage, issuing and dispatching activities of the materials;
• Maintaining that Institute's laid down materials management and procurement procedures and regulations are strictly followed;
• Participating in review of materials management policies;
• Maintaining that the receipts are in accordance with the order specifications;
• Compiling suppliers' rating based on records of performance; -

Age limit: Not more than 35 years
Salary: TIASS 5/1
