Operational Manager

Job Opening for an Operational Manager.

Role:
Being an operations manager involves overseeing and having responsibility for all the activities in the organisation which contribute to the effective production of goods and services

(i) Understanding strategic objectives: Operations managers must clearly understand the goals of the organisation and develop a clear vision of exactly how operations will help achieve them.
(ii) Developing an operations strategy: Due to the numerous decision-making involved with operations, it is critical that operations managers have a set of guidelines that are align with the organisation's long term goals.
(iii) Planning and controlling: This involves deciding what the operations resources should be doing and making sure that it is getting done.
(iv) Improving the performance of operation.

Requirements:
(i) Good management and leadership skills.
(ii) Experience of management in a construction agency
(iii) A good background in Finance and Accountancy,
(iv) Managing internal logistical processes effectively (Stock, transport, back orders etc)
(v) Prepare documents and facilitate the annual audit process with external auditors from start to completion ,To liaise with auditors and local authorities in order to resolve queries and handle requests
(vi) Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets for the branch
(vii) To prepare forward Revenue Forecasts and reports in liaison with General manager to obtain and capture relevant information
Only Candidates with enough experience will be shortlisted a minimum of 2 years experience is necessary.

Priority will be given to Tanzanian Citizens only.
