Administrative Officer II

The Local Government Training Institute (LGTI) is a higher learning Institution under the Prime Minister’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (PMORALG). The Institute was established by Act of Parliament No 26 of 1994, as a body corporate, to provide training, research, advisory and consultancy services in the fields of Local Government Finance, Administration and Management. As such, the Institute falls under the subject sector of Business and Management. The subjects falling under the said subject sector include Local Government Administration, Accountancy, Financial Management, Materials Management, Human Resource Management, Law, and other related subjects.

Administrative Officer II

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a) To oversee the general cleanliness and safety of offices and campus premises.
b) To oversee the day to day smooth running of the Registries.
c) To facilitate employee welfare including health, safety, sports social activities,
and culture;
d) To ensure registry, record management, and courier services are properly
provided;
e) To deal with general disciplinary matters for junior staff.
f) To facilitate provision of security services, transport and general utilities;
g) To facilitate general custodian services to include maintenance of office spaces
and equipment;
h) To ensure adequate working environment for offices including working
gears, tools, and equipment are made available.
i) To ensure all campus operations run smoothly;
j) To perform any other duty as may be assigned by his/her supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration or relevant field
from a recognized Institution plus computer skills.

REMUNERATION
Attractive remuneration package will be offered.
