ASSISTANT LECTURER (3 POSTS) RE-ADVERTISED
· Co-operative Audit - 1 Post
· Insurance and Risk Management - 1 Post
· Social Security - 1 Post

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Conducting lectures and practicals for undergraduate programmes and assisting senior staff in
lecturers and practicals, seminars, tutorials for postgraduate programmes as part of their learning;
· Preparing case studies;
· Conducting and/or assisting in tutorials and seminars;
· Working in co-operation with senior members on specific projects;
· Supervising special projects for undergraduate students;
· Designing and developing research proposals;
· Conducting and publishing research results;
· Carrying out consultancy and community services;

QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in a relevant functional area (with “B” average) and must have obtained an upper
second class having a minimum GPA of 3.5 in the first degree from a recognized higher learning
Institution.

REMUNERATION
Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the University’s salary scale PUTS 1.5

vii. Presentation of forged academic certificates and other information in the CV will necessitate to

viii. Applicants for direct entry level currently employed in the Public Service should not apply; they

ix. Applicants should indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts;
x. Certificates from foreign examination bodies for ordinary or advanced level education should be
certified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA);
xi. Certificates from foreign Universities should be verified by The Tanzania Commission for
Universities (TCU);
