Service supervisor – refrigeration (Dar es Salaam)

We are professional Recruiters based in Cape Town and are currently sourcing for a Service Supervisor based in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

 We urgently need a person to work in Tanzania (must be a TANZANIAN CITIZEN – not negotiable) with the following qualifications and experience:

·    Previous working experience within COMMERCIAL & OR TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION
·    Minimum 5 years supervisory experience

JOB DESCRIPTION
You will report to the Service Manager and will perform and be responsible for the following:
·    Sales and Marketing of Service Contracts
·     Identify new clients (3rd Party) and optimize business from existing customer base
·    Customer relations development
·    Administrative duties:
o    Improvement of the EBIT margin in service
o    Ensure that the budgeted monthly turnover is exceeded
o    Check and sign service costing prior to invoicing if Service Manager not available
o    Debtors - resolve technical invoice queries/disputes
·    Execution of physical work together with Field Service Engineers
·    Planning and scheduling of work together with Service Manager and Industrial Service Administrator
·    Arranging technicians’ daily work schedule
·    Approval and submission of technicians’ signed timesheets
·    Manage customer SLA’s
·    Managing Work in Progress
·    Quality management
·    Technical support to staff and identify training required
·    Management of Health and Safety processes and standards

Minimum Requirements
·    Relevant Trade test (advantageous)
·    Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
·    Previous working experience within Commercial & or Transport Refrigeration

Please Note:
·    The position requires availability to work overtime when required  in order to meet deadlines
·    The position requires cross bordering travelling on occasion
