By putting evidence- based health innovations into everyday practice, Jhpiego works to break down barriers to high-quality health care for the world's most vulnerable populations. Jhpiego is implementing a number of projects in Tanzania and wishes to fill the following position:
Human Resource Officer - 1 Post (Dar es Salaam)
Overview:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Officer will provide HR support to Jhpiego'country office for effective delivery of HR services and functions. These include providing HR support in recruitment, performance management, and HR administration, employee relations, ensuring compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and implementing initiatives in accordance with Jhpiego HR policy.
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant HR qualification to a degree level (Bachelor of Human Resource or
- Business administration)
- Ability to write and speak in clear and concise English
- At least 4 years progressive practical work experience in Human Resource within the International organization settings
- Knowledge of the Tanzania Labor laws and the related labor dispute resolution mechanism
- Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated use of initiative and ability to make appropriate linkages in work requirements and anticipate next steps.
- Ability to identify clients' needs and appropriate solutions including ability to establish and maintain productive partnership with clients.
- Effective organizational skills and ability to handle a large volume of work in an efficient and timely manner
- Ability to demonstrate diplomacy, sensitivity, and respect for confidentiality.
- Tanzanian nationals who have previous experience working with an international organization are preferred.
