Applications are invited from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) situated at Chang’ombe, Temeke District in Dar es Salaam.

Job Title: Assistant Lecturer (3 posts)

(a) Qualifications and Experience:
Applicant must be a holder of a Master’s Degree with a minimum GPA of 4.0 and overall GPA of 3.8 or higher in Undergraduate Degree from a recognized University with a minimum score of B+ in the relevant subject.

(b) Duties and Responsibilities
(i) Carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practical for undergraduate programmes under close supervision;
(ii) Prepare materials for practical and tutorial exercises;
(iii) Conduct research under close supervision;
(iv) Carry out consultancy in community services under close supervision;
(v) Publish articles & research findings;
(vi) Write teaching manuals and compendia;
(vii) Attend workshops, conferences and symposia; and
(viii) Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the relevant authorities.

(c) Salary Scale: PUTS 1.5
