Accounts Assistant (one post)

Tarime Institute of Business Management (TIBM) is a newly formed private educational and training institution established in February 2013 and Registered by NACTE by Registration Number REG/BTP/036P) to offer up to ordinary diploma (NTA Level 6) in Community Development, Procurement and Supply Management, Human Resource Management and Accountancy . The Institute is primarily engaged in offering quality training in short and long term business related programmes.

TIBM is currently situated at Tarime town centre in Tarime Town council. The location of the college/Institute is supported by conducive learning environment, which is ideal for the purpose of learning, with easy accessibility in terms of public transport and other academic related facilities. Currently the institute has the following vacancy;

Accounts Assistant (one post)

Reports to:    Deputy Rector - Planning, Finance and Administration

Qualifications:
Ordinary Diploma in Accounting from recognized Institution, Personnel with Foundation Stage (modules A&B), with two (2) or more years experience

Duties and responsibilities:
i.    To handle all cash related activities, banking ;
ii.    To prepare payment vouchers against approval request 111. Preparation of recipe voucher against pay in slip
iv.    To maintain registers such as cheque dispatch
v.    Proper filling of payment vouchers;
vi.    Proper filling of recipes vouchers;
vii.    Proper filing of pay in slip;
viii.    To ensure that all source documents are chronologically filed and stamped accordingly;
ix. To perform any other duty which will be assigned by his/ her supervisor

Salary scale: PITGSS
