Access Bank Tanzania is a commercial bank with a special focus on microfinance. It was established in November 2007 by a mix of international shareholders such as Access Holding, International Finance Corporation (World Bank), KfW, African Development Bank and Belgium Investment Company for Developing Countries (BIO). The bank has an extensive 12 branches spread across the country in regions of Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Kahama, Tabora and Mbeya.
In order to support our dynamic and ambitious expansion programme, we seek to recruit self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Head Office, Dar es Salaam.
Position: Marketing Assistant
Responsibilities:
•Supporting Branches in the distribution of proper promotional materials.
•Liaise with external designers and agencies in the production of new materials.
•Carry out and oversee market research activities.
•Conduct Quarterly review of Competitors and their offers.
•Screening Newspapers in Daily Basis: Current news in Banking industry and update the supervisor.
•Coordinating the press release/ press conference.
•Assist with collecting information that will be included in marketing collateral
•Visit Branches periodically to check the arrangements of promotional Materials, collecting the findings from the suggestion boxes and prepare the report at the end of the month and submit to supervisor.
•Supporting the development of promotional materials(Brochures/ fliers) and promotional campaign.
•Ensures that the Bank's web presence and external notice board are frequently updated.
•Responsible for any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
•Academic Qualification at least University Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
•No prior work experience required.
•Experience in Marketing will be an added advantage.
•Computer literacy: Microsoft Office.
•Languages: Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
