Mkwawa University college of Education (MUCE), a Constituent college of the university of Dar-es-Salaam invites job applications from suitability qualified candidates to fill the following vacant posts
Position: Assistant Accountant II (2 Posts)
Qualifications and Experience
- The application shall be a holder of First Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy, Commence or any relevant field from recognised institutions,
- must have been registered by NBAA and
- must have a relevant working experience of not less than three years
Age Limit: The age limit of the applicant should be between 18 and 40 years
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Receives and keeps in proper custody all incoming bills and claims
- Maintains primary books of the accounts
- prepares payments requisitions
- preparing of journal voucher/batches for various activities and
- Performs other duties as described in the schemes of services and any other duties as may be assigned by one's reporting officer
Position: Senior Planning Officer II (1 Post)
Qualifications and Experience
- The applicant shall be a holder of a masters degree in any of the following; Economics and statistics, or any other relevant field from a recognised institution with at least four years working experience
Age Limit: The age limit of the applicant should be between 18 and 40 years
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates for capital development
- Liaises with finance department in preparing the current budget
- Compiles the college project profiles including sources of funding and
- Performs other duties as described in the scheme of services and any other duties as may be signed by one's reporting officer
