The LAPF Pensions Fund is a social security institution affiliated to the Prime Minister's Office Regional Administration and Local Government (PMORALG). LAPF has it's headquarter in Dodoma with zone and liaison offices in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, lringa Mwanza, Mtwara,Rukwa and Kigoma. LAPF activities have been steadily increasing in the recent past and in response, to that, the Fund is seeking to recruit dynamic, committed, qualified individuals who are I highly motivated, entrepreneurial- minded and result driven , professionals with proven track record.
The available positions together with their specific requirements are as follows:
Job purpose
Reports to the Office supervisor, or Zonal Manager, the Records Management Officer will be responsible for recording, analysing and keeping in safe custody the Fund's members records and any other information with regard to members registrations and benefits payments.
Qualifications Skills and Experience
- The ideal candidate for this position should:
- Holder of degree in Library Studies, Records
- Management & Archives or equivalent qualification in related field
- Should be computer literate and must have attended computer course in Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet, E-Mail and Publisher
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive documents sent from various sources and verify their status and accuracy.
- In adherence to the laid down procedure and steps, post/ file the received data/documents into the system.
- Prepare and issue lists of office records outstanding for unreasonable time and timely provide report to superiors.
- Facilitate, coordinate and prepare meetings and conferences and timely provide report to superiors.
- Liaise and arrange hotel and travel bookings for various officers traveling on duty and' visitors of the Fund and timely provide report to superiors.
- Liaise with Head Driver to arrange for transport for various officers and timely provide report to superiors.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by superiors.
