Job Summary
This position supports the Country Manager and the Tanzanian Program Management team to lead a cross-functional team to implement special projects, partnerships and initiatives. This position will be responsible for the overall implementation, coordination, follow-up, and reporting for the assigned special projects and initiatives. This person will lead the planning and coordinate the operational execution of the assigned projects, activities and ideas. These special projects and initiatives could be partnerships with NGOs, financial institutions, and farmer referral marketing initiatives, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take lead on partnership activities with the various partners and ensure that KickStart commitments and responsibilities are implemented, managed, and reported on time.
- Act upon Donor Funded Projects to ensure that the agreed action plan is being executed and reported in a timely manner. Share with the Country Manager the progress, shortcomings, need for resources among others.
- Develop concepts as assigned on new subject areas for active KickStart involvement.
- Organize meetings to discuss special activities that run across the Country program and ensure participation and contributions are made, analyzed and reported.
- Design tools to track specific indicators for the Donor Funded projects. Track performance to ensure project objectives are being met.
- Develop proposals for Donor Funded Projects based on subjects of interest to KickStart such as Women, Youth, Climate Change, and Agriculture etc.
- Manage the delivery and analysis of consolidated monthly reporting for the Program – this includes sales results, sales forecasting, impacts, inventory, and budgets figures.
- Support in the analysis and production of monthly KPI report on Country Program performance.
- Work closely with the National Managers to ensure that the set targets for the Country Program are met.
- Represent KickStart Tanzania professionally by responding to enquiries and attending meetings and conferences when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate in a relevant field of study.
- Minimum 5 years work experience job specific relevant field.
- Self-starter with strong project management skills Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and team work skills, demonstrated reliability and attention to details.
- Solid judgment, critical thinking skills, and highly organized individual.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word processing, Access, Power point, Outlook).
