Public Health Logistics Advisor

TITLE:    Public Health Logistics Advisor  (1 Open Position)
REPORTS TO: Senior Public Health Logistics Advisor
LOCATION:   Position based in Country Office, Dar es Salaam



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required                                           
 Higher qualification in Pharmacy, Medical Doctor or other Public Health professions with
experience in HIV/AIDS and clinical laboratory services.
 Experience working with Malaria and Family Planning commodities and programs preferred.
 Experience in logistics/supply chain management and or public health commodities
management desirable.
 Experience working with the Government of Tanzania and other NGO’s preferred.
 Excellent written and verbal English.
 Ability to work in a team to develop strategies and manage implementation of projects.
 Ability to work independently.
 Previous work experience with USAID‐funded projects desirable.
 Proficiency in common computer packages (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) relevant to the work.
 Team player.
 Ability to travel for an extended period of time in country to support technical activities.
 Ability to travel internationally to attend trainings and conferences as needed.
