Qualifications and Experience:
Holder of a Degree/Postgraduate Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supplies/Logistic or Material Management with a Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP) certificate from a recognized institution. At least five (5) years working experience in a reputable organization. Must be computer literate. Experience in the public sector is an added advantage.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
(i) Identifying requirements of materials of the Authority and making timely  procurement at minimum costs and with due regard to user specifications.
(ii) Recommending on standards and procedures for acquisition, storage and issuing of materials and services required by user departments.
(iii) Establishing, evaluating and maintaining reliable sources of materials supply  to ensure continuity of the Authority’s operations.
(iv) Reviewing departmental procurement requirements and ensuring that  materials and services required by them are obtained timely at the minimum possible costs.
(v) Preparing tender documents and inviting tenders from potential suppliers,  consultants and contractors, process and inform successful tenders ensuring that goods, services and works are delivered/performed promptly and in accordance with the agreed terms
(vi)  Preparing progress reports on procurement and supplies activities.
