POSITION:CREDIT OFFICER
LOCATION: DAR ES SALAAM;
REPORTS TO:CEO
Smart Finance Limited is a microfinance institution that was created to support and meet the financial needs of small and medium sized enterprises (“SMEs”) in Tanzania. The company is looking for a dynamic and experienced candidate to fill the position of Credit Officer.
Responsibilities:
• Business development.
• Managing client relationships.
• Preparation of credit proposals.
• Perfecting securities after sanction of loan facilities.
• Monitoring loan account performance and regularizing where anomalies arise.
• Gathering corporate intelligence information on existing and target customers
• Compiling information and preparing internal returns and reports.
• Attending to queries from the clients, and Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have any Business related degree.
• Must have at least 2 years credit experience in a financial institution.
• Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
• Ability to function as a team player.
