Senior Accountant (Ref: 08)

Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a locally registered NGO first established in 1994. It is the largest indigenous provider of disability rehabilitation services in the country. CCBRT aims to improve the quality of life of people living with disabilities as well as their families and to enable them to achieve their legitimate potential.


POSITION: Senior Accountant (Ref: 08)

Duties to Include:
·         Daily review of trial balances and interprogrammes accounts.
·         Reviewing data entry invoices/documents for payment into the system.
·         Daily review of petty cash reconciliations.
·         Monthly reviewing of bank reconciliations.
·         Assisting the Deputy Chief Accountant and the Chief accountant during   the audit exercise.
·         Assisting the chief accountant on preparation of monthly payroll for the organization.
·         Reviewing of Journal Entries
·         Reviewing of imprests and retirements
·         Preparing draft Income and Expenditure reports.
·         Preparing of suppliers and customers aging reports.

Work Experience / Skills:
·         Minimum 2  years relevant experience  (E)
·         Competent in Microsoft Excel (E)
·         Adequate knowledge of SAP software (P)

Qualifications:
·         Bachelor degree of Accounting from a recognized institution (E)
·          Holder of CPA(T)/ACCA  (E)
