Billing Assistant (1 Post)

Billing assistant is an important staff in the accounts department, who helps in streamlining this process and maintains transparency to avoid any misunderstandings.

a)Preparing Bills: preparing, printing, filing, and sending bills to the clients. Generating reconciling and duplicates, compiling the weekly and monthly bills and sending these statements to the clients;
b)Receiving Payments: collecting cash checks against bills receivable, recording the details of the receivables and making the entry into the accounts or informing the accounting staff to make the necessary entries;
c)Sending Reminders: sending reminders regarding unpaid bills to the clients. He may also contact them through telephone if they do not reply to the reminder;
d)Calculating the discount, commission, and other overheads on the billed amount;
e)Other Duties – Perform other duties as may be assigned by higher authority.
